The mission of the EAAS is to be the leading community resource for people interested in the visual arts. We ahve conducted classes, created scholorships, organized exhibits, hosted classes and leny artwork to exhibit in offices.

Tell a little about your mentor.
His name is Joseph and he is from Kansas. Used to be interested in music and then in college he changed it into art. Very nice guy!
What happened on the first day?
Meeting! We have talked about different kinds of rules.
What kinds things have you done so far?
- Black/White Photography
- Getting art supplies from 34 th street
- Seen Joseph advertising our place (classes)
- Posting art works on the wall
- Seen Wire exhibition
- Researched on artists
- Cleaning (arranging art supplies)
- Copying stuff

As for your mentor's journalling request-yes I have not heard of others doing this, but your mentor has the right to ask this of you. I am glad your mentor has added this extra piece for you because it means that you will be challenged more than others may be. You may want to ask your mentor if you could, instead, complete the daily journal on your blog for the J.I.S. class. I will be asking everyone soon to keep regular journal/blog entries. This way you would be "killing two birds with one stone." -AS-
